Alberto Zayden was born in Havana, Cuba the son of a Cuban mother and a Lebanese father. He is a writer of poetry, fiction and theater. His play, The Cigarette Exchange was produced at Synchronicity Space in Soho. He has written episodic fiction for two South Beach magazines and his poetry has appeared in Literary Magazines and been performed extensively throughout New York, alone and in collaborative presentations of various different genres. He has just finished a novel called, The Book of Masks and is working to get it published.
